Just the other day I introduced a few of the lovely WIPs from In the Loop, our weekly crafting group. This week, our final get together before Christmas, we had a Christmas card exchange – we all made one, we all received one. Lots of different styles – a felted robin picture, sashiko style stitching, zentangle, cross stitch, different paper crafts and more! I love the way we’ve all got our different styles.
There was quite a bit of knitting , here’s one wrap in progress, in might look like the finished article will be ‘coffee and cream’ but look at the rest of the ball – there’s all colours of the rainbow and sparkles too! Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.
And a finished project – well the stitching is finished, it’s the fixing it to the travel book just to go. Absolutely beautiful work and a confession from the sewist – this was started 23 years ago on a worldwide trip. Wow! Even the oldest parts look as fresh as the new! There’s inspiration to never give up on your WIPs!
We are all looking forward to our 2018 creations – completing WIPS, starting new projects, picking up tips from each other, all in all spending time with like-minded friends and having a giggle along the way. Wishing other crafters similar inspiration and fun.
