Christmas Card Creation, Finished crafting and more Cake !

Posted on

loopcardsJust the other day I introduced a few of the lovely WIPs from In the Loop, our weekly crafting group. This week, our final get together before Christmas, we had a Christmas card exchange – we all made one, we all received one.  Lots of different styles – a felted robin picture, sashiko style stitching, zentangle, cross stitch, different paper crafts and more!  I love the way we’ve all got our different styles.

There was quite a bit of knitting , here’s one wrap in progress, in might look like the finished article will be ‘coffee and cream’ but look at the rest of the ball – there’s all colours of the rainbow and sparkles too! Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.

And a finished project – well the stitching is finished, it’s the fixing it to the travel book just to go.  Absolutely beautiful work and a confession from the sewist – this was started 23 years ago on a worldwide trip.  Wow! Even the oldest parts look as fresh as the new!  There’s inspiration to never give up on your WIPs!

And of course there was cake !

We are all looking forward to our 2018 creations – completing WIPS, starting new projects, picking up tips from each other, all in all spending time with like-minded friends and having a giggle along the way.  Wishing other crafters similar inspiration and fun.
