A Little Crafting Therapy

Posted on

Towards the end of a very difficult week there is crafting light at the end of the tunnel.

A little rest and family time yesterday helped.  As did some kind comments from a couple of dear friends and also blogging friends here too.

Today, after dropping off No 1 son (and only son!) at the train station ready for him to head airport bound on his hols, I sat and sewed.  Son had been home for less than 24 hours, he is a whirlwind like his father!  Husband has been away from home 2 nights this week for work.  At times they are like peas in a pod!

So today’s progress:

A few hexies sewn as part of a long ongoing project.  The burgundy is a lot darker than it seems in the pic.  Enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are.

Three felt doughnuts to go for sale in a local tea shop.

Sorry you had a difficult week and glad that crafty helps it be a bit better. I love hex everything (Tierney = hexie addicted) and the donuts are awesome! Hope next week is better.

      “Crafting” not “Crafty” 🙂

Actually always feels a little crafty when I sit surrounded by housework begging to be done. I was crafting next to a huge pile of ironing !

Good to hear you’re feeling a bit better. I have two whirlwind Children too, so know how you feel on that one. Hexies are looking good 🙂 Here’s to a better week next week.

Sorry to hear you have had a difficult week – so glad your crafting helped. It often helps me too. And it has to be preferable to housework doesn’t it?! 😉

Crafting is very therapeutic. It’s a bit hit and miss on the success of a few things I’ve made recently – taking it all as a ‘learning’ curve and it’s definitely better than housework, ha ha!
